Shaykh Ul Islam Imam Muhammad Anwaarullah Farooqui (May Allah sanctify his secret) - Life and teachings

Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) used all possible means to reform the Ummah.  On one hand, he wrote scholarly books.  On the other hand, he established the Asafiya Central Library (now famous as State Central Library) to preserve and provide books.  The establishment of this library is only due to the result of his efforts only, which has proved to be a source of great benefit for scholars and populace alike.  (Matla ‘Ul Anwaar, Pg.
